Hello students!
Thank you for all you hard work this entire year. I was impressed with all the effort put in your work during distance learning. Attached you will find a link to the summer assignment you can workout throughout the summer.
The purpose behind this packet is to help you be prepared for the next school year since we did not have a chance to cover all material due to distance learning.
Please work on this as best as you can and continue to work on TeenBiz. I am extremely proud of all of you and will miss you!
Best of luck in 7th grade and have a great summer!
Mr. Guzman
Hello students!
Welcome to week 7 of Distance Learning!
This week you will be completing an activity to show expansion of Roman Empire and their defeat of the Carthaginians. Over the weekend I had some computer issues and do not have access to my laptop to record a tutorial video for the week. I will try to get a video up and running by Tuesday to help you out but for now read the instructions below or instructions on your assignment.
Monday: Watch Edpuzzle video and answer questions.
Tuesday: Use the maps and T-Chartp provided to to explain Pros (good things) and Cons(bad things) of Rome conquering so much land
(Example: Pro: Rome will have more power by expanding their military throughout the land. Con: Rome will be seen as evil by taking land from innocent people)
Thursday: Write a letter to the Roman Senate explaining what you think about Rome stealing so much land.
Friday: Continue working or Current Event/CNN10
Reminder! New WebEx Time for this week: 10:00AM on Thursdays and 9:00AM Friday for Wheel 6
If you have any questions email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Take care,
Mr. Guzman

Remember, today (Monday) your flyers are going to be due so I can gather them together and post them for your peers to vote for our Roman Senate! I have received a lot of flyers and they look fantastic! Email them to me or use the submission link posted on Friday.
This week complete the 12 Tables activity posted for Monday and Tuesday. I have posted a video going over the assignment and gave a few answers as a tutorial.
For Thursday complete the Purpose Question reading activity. Everything else should be pretty simple to understand.
