May Panthers of the Month


The 7th grade Panther of the Month for May is Peyton Mannin. Peyton regularly goes the extra mile on her own school work and is also happy to help her classmates study and review the topics being taught in class. She is a kind and supportive classmate, making sure that everyone feels confident about what they have learned. Hoʻomaikaʻi e Peyton!


The 8th grade Panther of the Month for May is Molly Fitzgerald. Peers report that Molly gets along with everyone and makes the work fun when taking part in group assignments. Molly is extremely conscientious about her school work and routinely kind to fellow panthers. What a great role model! Congratulations, Molly!

Student Body Government

  • We are coming to the end of the school year! Thank you for all you have done as part of our Student Body Government!

      • On FRIDAY, MAY 13 please complete the form at this LINK .

      • There are 2 parts, one section for your whole class to share their opinions and a second section for the SBG class representative and alternate to share their opinions.

  • Virtual Meetings occur in Mrs. Young's WebEx Room - NEXT MEETING WILL BE NEXT YEAR!!!

  • Participating students and staff will get an email the morning of the SBG meeting with the link to the WebEx Room

  • During their Advisory class on the following day, Student Representatives and Alternates are asked to :

    1. Present information from the SBG Meeting to their Advisory Class

    2. Complete an SBG Report by collecting information from the Advisory Class

    3. Share the completed doc with Elizabeth.Young@k12.hi.us

  • The slideshows shared in the SBG meetings are available for viewing in this SBG Meeting Google Folder

Caught Doing Good

The AMS staff is on the look-out for students doing the right thing without being asked. Examples could be sharing supplies with a peer who doesn’t have something, offering to help out in the classroom, picking up trash that wasn’t theirs on the campus, etc.

When a student is "Caught Doing Good," the AMS staff member will give them a sticker.


The students may then go to bit.ly/CaughtDoingGoodDrawing to enter in a weekly drawing for an Ice Pop.
