Before you join...

Do you have headphones?

Check to make sure your headphones and volume work.
Be mindful of the mute/unmute button.

Are you in a quiet work environment?

If possible, try to separate yourself from people that may distract you or the class.
Make sure you are in a comfortable, seated position, not laying down on your couch or bed.
Put the phone, video games and tv away. Minimize the distractions.

Are you ready to learn?

Have all the appropriate materials ready for the class session (Textbooks, Notebooks, Pencil, etc).
Make sure your homework is completed by the posted due date.
Get yourself ready to participate in class discussion.
