Cyberbullying is an unwanted aggressive behavior that takes place using electronic technology, like text messages, email, social media sites, blogs, and other websites. The behavior becomes bullying when it is repeated even after requests for it to stop. Unlike bullying, cyberbullying can be particularly painful for the victims because it can happen at 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the bullies can make their posts anonymously. The Internet and our digital connections do not turn off and offer the potential for a continuous stream for the bullying to quickly spread.
