Recycled Art
Through my primary research I will be collecting all of the trash I make and a group of people in my community makes. I hope to make as little trash as possible and am encouraging this group to do so as well. I will create a life-size sculpture of a wave out of plastic. I will be able to displaying it in my school's lobby.
Whenever I visit art exhibits me and my dad will go around saying "oh I bet I could make that." We both love art and being creative but we always feel too busy to actually create anything amazing. Now I will be able to create something that can make a difference in the world by making people realize how much trash we create. I hope my sculpture emphasizes the importance to use less plastic. Once I have finished my sculpture, I will write a description that explains the purpose of it.
