~ Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that is also commonly referred to as collagen induction therapy. At Justine Aesthetic Studio, our skin needling treatment uses a medical-grade micro needling device that is able to penetrate the epidermis and the dermis layer of the skin.

Microneedling is a perfect treatment to fight against ageing, sun damage, acne scarring, and to improve tone and texture.

Medical microneedling creates more significant micro channels due to the deeper needle penetration of the needle. This type of ‘skin trauma’ causes the body to release myofibroblasts to heal the ‘wounds’. This wound healing response also causes growth factors to be released. Collagen production to be induced and to synergistically tackle healing and growth.

Due to the needle depth microneedling should only be attended every 4-6 weeks.

~ Combines advanced exfoliation techniques with SkinCeuticals best ingredient technologies to help restore radiance, tone, and texture to visibly ageing skin. This treatment will leave skin looking brighter, energised, and refreshed.

~ The SkinCeuticals Anti-Ageing Facial uses Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA).

AHA’s are acids originally derived naturally from organic substances such as sugar cane, sour milk, apples, grapes, and starch. The most known acids are glycolic and lactic acids.

Acne Facial | $169.00

~ Provides a multi-model approach to help manage the complex conditions of acne-prone skin, including excess oil, uneven texture, comedones, redness and post inflammatory discolouration’s. Skin clarifying and calming technologies are combined to help improve the appearance of surface lesions, minimise redness, and reduce discomfort associated with acne prone skin. Also ideal for those experiencing the signs of acne and ageing simultaneously.

~ The SkinCeuticals Acne Facial uses a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA). A BHA is an acid derived from the bark of a willow tree. This acid works by penetrating pores and works outward. This acid does not cause inflammation or wound tissue. Peeling is not always visible with a BHA, whether peeling is visible it does not affect the efficacy of the peel.

NOTE:

1. Discontinue of topical Vitamin A 1 week prior to treatment.

2. Not to be used on patients with known allergies to ‘non-steroidal anti-inflammatory’ (NSAID’s) such as aspirin or ibuprofen.

Radiance and Brightening Facial | $169.00

Combined with layered exfoliation and protective antioxidants, this treatment will leave skin looking brighter, more radiant, and refreshed.

~ The SkinCeuticals Radiance and Brightening Facial can utilise either a Beta Hydroxy Acid or an Alpha Hydroxy Acid. Dependent on your skin concern, a bespoke treatment plan will be tailored to your needs.

~ Dermaplaning is a non-invasive skin procedure that uses a sterile surgical scalpel to stroke against the skin to gently remove the dead skin cells and soft vellus hair known as ‘facial fluff’ from the face.
