Nicole Hayman‑Sherman is the lead facilitator and curriculum designer for all Yoga Teacher Training programs at Just Breathe Registered Yoga School. With more than 10,000 hours of teaching experience and over 1,400 hours of advanced training, Nicole brings exceptional depth, clarity, and lineage‑based knowledge to every training cohort.

Nicole has mentored yoga instructors across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, guiding new and experienced teachers in developing their voice, confidence, and professional identity. Her teaching is grounded in nearly five decades of personal practice, beginning at age three with her mother.
Her experience spans a wide range of yoga traditions, including Hatha, Iyengar, Power, White Lotus, Bikram, ISHTA, Kripalu, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin, giving her a uniquely comprehensive perspective on alignment, energetics, sequencing, and pedagogy.
Nicole completed her initial 300‑hour certification in 2012, became Owner and President of Just Breathe Yoga Studio in 2013, and continued her advanced studies with certifications in children’s yoga (2013), meditation (2014), 500‑hour advanced training (2015), prenatal yoga (2015), yoga therapy foundations (2022), Ayurveda (2022), and Trauma‑Informed Yoga (2026). She achieved the E‑RYT 500 milestone in 2017 after surpassing 2,500 teaching hours.
In addition to her work at JBYS, Nicole has taught for Mohawk Valley Community College, Madison‑Oneida BOCES, the Ava Dorfman Senior Center, and multiple community programs, including youth and residential centers throughout the region.
Nicole’s YTT leadership is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and a deep belief in yoga as a lifelong path of healing, empowerment, and transformation. Her trainings are known for being supportive, comprehensive, and life‑changing—both personally and professionally.
A $100 Registration fee is required. Payment plans are available.
This course can be taken as a stand-alone or a preparation for Yoga Teacher Training.
Suppose after taking Just Breathe 50 you discover you DO want to take the next step and become a yoga instructor and take the Just Breathe 200 Yoga Teacher Training. In that case, You will be "locked in" at the special discounted tuition of $2,000 and JBRYS will deduct $400 from your teacher training tuition ( the cost of this course minus expenses).
