JSD's Budget Development Process

Each year the District develops a proposed budget to present to the Board of Education.  The proposed budget is constructed over several months and considers the revenue outlook, community feedback, and predicted costs.  The adopted budget is approved by the Board of Education and prioritizes spending which aligns with the developed goals and ensures that resources follow students. 

This website is maintained throughout the process as a resource for the community and as a central location for the distribution of information on the Juneau School District's spending plan.
