Billing Policy
The Initial Service Fee covers the first two hours of service provided by one interpreter, which are available during the hours of 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
Payment terms: Clients shall pay for all services rendered by the agency within 30 days of the invoice date. Any unpaid invoices shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum legal interest rate allowed by law, whichever is lower.
All requests are billed on an Initial Service Fee which includes one interpreter for the first two hours.
After the first two hours, requests are billed in 30 minute increments.
Requests with an expected duration of more than two hours often require two interpreters.
Requests for After-Hours Services must be made with at least 24 hours notice and will be provided between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:00 am
Cancellation policy: Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellation, otherwise they will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the scheduled service.
Confidentiality: The agency and its interpreters shall keep all information shared during the interpreting session confidential, except as required by law or to protect the safety of any person.
Code of conduct: The agency and its interpreters shall conduct themselves in a professional manner and shall not engage in any discriminatory or harassing behavior towards clients or other parties involved in the interpreting session.
Liability: The agency shall not be liable for any errors or omissions that may occur during the interpreting session, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Insurance: The agency maintains liability and professional indemnity insurance coverage for all interpreting services provided.
Quality assurance: The agency is committed to providing high-quality interpreting services and encourages clients to provide feedback and report any concerns or complaints.
Data protection: The agency is committed to protecting personal data and shall comply with all applicable data protection laws.
Service level agreement: The agency shall provide interpreting services in accordance with industry standards and shall work to accommodate any special requests or needs of the client.
By using the agency’s services, the client agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
