The K-8 Temecula Learning Center Program gives home study students an opportunity to attend classes once a week. Our highly qualified credentialed teachers pull from a variety of resources to create meaningful lessons that target both the academic and interest levels of the students. This year we will implement curriculum from "The Leader In Me," a journey that guides students in strengthening their leadership competencies, maximizing engagement, and cultivating a leadership culture.
The Learning Center is an Enrichment Program that meets on Fridays from 9:00 -2:15. Students need to complete regular home-study lessons at home Mon.-Thurs.
This enrichment program provides students a place to interact socially and academically with other home study students at their grade level in a safe, positive environment. Instructional activities include "hands-on" learning, group dialogue, teacher modeling and instruction, Social Emotional Lessons, P.E, and events such as Project Share Day, Talent Show, plus other special events.
The Friday Learning Center is an excellent place for students who enjoy collaborating with others. Students are expected to contribute fully to partners/groups and demonstrate learning that meets grade-level expectations.
Classes are located at our JCS Pine Hills K-6 Academy, Madison Campus, 27235 Madison Ave., Temecula, CA 92590
