Requirements


Volunteer Service: Each Juda middle and high school student needs to do volunteer service as a graduation requirement. Below are the required hours per grade year.

6th Grade: 2 Hour

7th Grade: 3 Hours

8th Grade: 4 Hours

9th Grade: 5 Hours

10th Grade: 5 Hours

11th Grade: 10 Hours

12th Grade: 10 Hours

Volunteer Service Suggestions: FFA Concessions, Ag Chest, Blood Drive, Mentoring, Fore Fathers Summer, Hill Climb set-up, Tyler Pierce Run, Attending Board Meetings/Club meetings, DJing at the Middle School Dance, Youth firefighters/Junior Firefighters, Nursing Home, Big Brothers Big Sisters. Portfolio Presentation:

ACP Grade: ACP is pass/fail grade. Student needs to pass each year to graduate. Each year student will be awarded 0.25 credit for a passing grade which will total to a full credit by the end of senior year.

English 4 credits

Social Studies 3 credits

Science 3 credits

Mathematics 3 credits

Physical Education 1 ½ credits

Health Education ½ credit

Senior Seminar ½ credit

Electives 10 credits

Total: 25.5

Specific Classes Required for Graduation

English: 4 credits

Health: 0.5 credit (Completed during grade 10)

Mathematics: 3 credits (One semester of Personal Finance counts as 0.5 credit of Math)

Physical Education: 1.5 credits.

Senior Seminar: 0.5 credit taken during grade 12

Social Studies: 3 credits (Including World Geography in grade 9, American Government for one semester in grade 10, U.S. History in grade 11 and ½ credit elective)

Science: 3 credits (Including Biology I in grade 9 and Physical Science or Chemistry in grade 10) (Horticulture and Ecology count as Science credits)
