We have qualified for Title I funding this school year but must get our school percentage up if we want it in future years. Title I is a federal education program. Funds are distributed to high poverty schools, as determined by the number of students receiving free or reduced lunch. This funding is used to provide academic support and learning opportunities for students in the areas of reading, language arts, and mathematics. These allocated funds can be used to hire additional teachers, teaching assistants, technology, or other instructional materials to provide additional support for the students.
