Meet the Teachers

Get to Know Me:

• I am starting my 11th year as a Special Education Teacher!  I started working at Jenkintown Elementary school in October of 2022.  This year will be my 3rd school year at JES! 

• I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Neumann University in 2012 and also earned my Master of Education from Neumann in 2019. 

• I have my Instructional II teaching certification in Special Education N-12; Elementary Education K-6; & Autism Endorsement.

• In my teaching career, I have taught the following grades: Pre-K, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and K-6 Autistic Support.

• My favorite hobbies include: hiking, traveling, going to the beach & watching sports (I love ALL Philly team sports)!

• I have three pets: A Siberian Husky puppy named Luna and two cats: Beau & Bella!

• A fun fact: I was a varsity pitcher in HS and played softball all my life!

• I am a fellow Drake! I graduated from Jenkintown SD in 2014!

• I went to California University of Pennsylvania for my undergrad.

• While at JES, I have worked as an Instructional Aide with RBT training.  I have worked with Middle/HS & Elementary students.

• My favorite hobbies include: drawing and reading

• A fun fact: I am really nerdy and I always look on the bright side of things!

Get to Know Me:

• I’m starting my 3rd year at Jenkintown Elementary as an Instructional Assistant with RBT training. 

• I received my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern University. 

• I’m currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Special Education.   

• My hobbies include: riding bikes with my family and watching Gilmore Girls while relaxing on my couch. 

• A fun fact: I enjoy cooking with my daughter Aria.
