Mission of the project
The MSTI Program aims at introducing motivated pre-college students (10th to 12th grade) to the transportation industry. During the two-week program, students will participate in academic and enhancement activities designed to improve their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and leadership.

This non-residential program will provide a well-balanced curriculum and an environment that is conducive to both academic and personal development, promotes interpersonal skills and exposes students to real-world transportation issues.

Participants will be taken on field trips to various transportation facilities in the area to learn the available transportation modes and intermodal facilities, and to meet related transportation industry, builders, and stakeholders.

Enhancement
The enhancement program will provide a number of college preparatory activities. In addition, students will be exposed to activities that help improve STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) capabilities, study habits, time management, and personality development skills.
