The 2025 Global Nutrition Cluster (GNC) Global Event is an annual three-day virtual event for GNC core teams, GNC working groups, the global Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), partners, country coordination teams, national authorities, government entities, nutrition practitioners and implementing partners. The participation of local and national actors, particularly governments, is especially prioritised to strengthen the humanitarian response in alignment with the GNC Localisation Roadmap 2024-2025.

Consistent with the mission of the GNC, the Global Event will foster a rich discourse that will identify common emerging priorities, increase awareness of work implemented around those themes and drive actionable outcomes, advancing global nutrition initiatives with efficiency and effectiveness. It is an opportunity to further strengthen nutrition in emergency programmes, based on the needs of affected populations, as well as coordination capacities of countries so they are better able to prepare for, respond to, and recover from nutrition emergencies. Through this event, participants will:

• Exchange knowledge and insights

• Receive updates on progress of the GNC Strategy 2022-2025 implementation

• Be informed on current best practices

• Contribute to the development of the next GNC Strategy 

The event will be organized around the three core objectives of the GNC Strategy: people, operational and technical support, and enabling environment.
