The Jacksonville Mini-Project is designed to extend your knowledge of some of the topics we have discussed in class, or introduce you to some topics we may not have studied in class. There are a number of web pages that contain information about some of the important people, places, and businesses in Jacksonville. You will be choosing a topic and reading the available information about it. You will then need to teach the class what you learned.
In order to be successful on this project, you will need to:
1) Choose a link/topic from the list below.
2) Visit and read the information about the person/topic related to Jacksonville.
3) Create a Google Slide Show in which you tell us the story about your topic. Your job is to extend our knowledge of the person/place, or business.
4) Use bullet points, NOT full sentences on your presentation. Your bullet points will guide your story, but it is NOT the entire story. You will need to tell us the story verbally.
5) Use pictures to illustrate your topic the best that you can.
