Work-Based Learning

The Work Based Learning (WBL) program recognizes the value of supervised work as a learning experience. WBL partners JHS students with a community employer to provide this unique educational experience. In WBL, a student will spend part of their day working in a leadership/management position within our community.  They will gain knowledge and skills to succeed in their prospective career field. WBL students must also enroll in a related course of study at JHS to further develop skills where they can be successful in this field.  Required weekly meetings will be held to reinforce additional employability skills.
