On the iPad, Google has unveiled a student selector in Google Classroom.  It will allow you to select random students from the class.  In your Google Classroom, just hit the "People" tab on the bottom of the screen.  On the People window, you'll see an icon in the top right.  Click it and Google will randomly select a student!
