JHS Musical

JAMESTOWN HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

Every year, Jamestown High School presents an All-School musical. Students take on roles on stage, behind the scenes, and in the pit orchestra. For the past three years, JHS has participated in the Shea's Wonder Awards. A competition recognizing and awarding outstanding achievements in musical theater across Western New York. JHS's 2026 production of Pirates of Penzance was nominated for nine Shea's Wonder Awards winning "Most Outstanding Production of Musical: Gold Level", "Most Outstanding Direction of a Musical", and "Most Outstanding Costumes" receiving $5,500 in grant money for future productions. In 2025 our production of Les Misérables was nominated for eight Shea's Wonder Awards and won one for "Most Outstanding Direction of a Musical". In 2024, The Music Man was nominated but did not take home any awards.
