Mrs. Henderson's Math Class

Students will be completing daily Math lessons in the Eureka Math Modules. There are 7 math Modules for 4th grade.

Daily fact fluency will take place for approximately 10-15 minutes in class. It is strongly recommended to practice for 10 minutes at home as well. Fact quizzes every Friday!

Typically, homework is studying some specific material. Your child will only have Module homework if they do not finish in class or are absent.

Tests are given at the end of each topic, but do not fall on a specific day of each week. It will vary depending on our pace of the lessons.

Various websites will be used for remediation and enrichment daily. It is strongly recommended to work on these at home as well.

Fluently add and subtract within 1,000, 000.

Comparing and rounding numbers to the millions place.

Multiplying larger numbers.

Dividing up to 4 digits by a single divisor.

Multi-step word problems involving all 4 operations.

Adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers with like denominators.

Converting mixed numbers and improper fractions and relating those to whole numbers on the number line.

Basic geometry terms, solving for missing angles, and using a protractor to measure angles.
