Quitman High School has received a generous Pledge 10 grant from Jonesboro State Bank. This grant will be used to help fund and support the Positive Behavior Program for the 2018 - 2019 school year. We sincerely appreciate Jonesboro State Bank's continued investment in the education and well-being of the students in our community.

Winter Wonderland Family Dance - January 26 - QHS Gym

Grades PreK - Grade 2 4:00 P.M. - 5:30 P.M.

Grades 3 - 5 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

This special event is a family dance for Quitman students in grades PreK – 5 and their Very Important Person* – parents, grandparents, guardians, or other special adults. This is NOT a student drop off event. All students must be accompanied by their VIP* guest(s). No older or younger siblings/students allowed. Semi-formal or Sunday Best attire is required.

Cost is $5 per person. No refunds.

Free Photo Booth Area

▫Dancing by all attendees must remain respectful and appropriate. ▫Students and VIP guests should follow general dress code guidelines for school dances.

Please complete the form that was sent home and return it to school with payment of cash or check (payable to Quitman High School PBIS) by January 23, 2019.

Pre-registration is required. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

Students attended "A Very Merry Oz Christmas" performed by the Louisiana Delta Ballet.


Our students take turns helping Principal Carter with morning announcements.

They enjoy being able to share the QHS Behavioral Expectations with all our students and staff.


Students can earn daily and weekly rewards for positive behavior.
