Nouna Jalilzabeh is a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Mental Health Therapist (MHC-LP) who aims to create a safe and trusting space for clients to explore meaningful issues in their lives. She has experience working in the Middle East and values diversity. Nouna believes that the power of healing is within us, and in therapy sessions, we seek to find those powers and develop them.

Her experience includes working with adolescents, families, and adults struggling with adjustment, anxiety, depression, relationship, and racial issues. Nouna utilizes interventions from the school of humanistic, post-modern, and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) as well as mindfulness and meditation.

Nouna is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA), and the British Psychological Society (BPS). She holds certifications in Therapeutic Art, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Yoga & Mindfulness, and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP).

Nouna holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Counseling skills from Middlesex University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Molloy College. She is also a current Doctoral Student at Pace University.
