During the JpGU-AGU Joint Meeting 2026, childcare will be provided.
Your kids can come to the room set up in the conference venue and will be taken care of.
Those who want to use off-site childcare facilities and services can be supported financially.
On the public day of the meeting (Sunday), your kids in the age of primary school can also come and will be taken care of in the room.
Advance registration is required to use the on-site schoolchild care and childcare services.
The registration form is scheduled to be released on April 10.
The registration form is available in both Japanese and English.
The on-site childcare staff can speak in both Japanese and English.
2026年大会では，昨年に引き続き，大会期間中の6日間にわたって会場内に保育ルームを設置予定です．
例年同様に，会場外保育施設等の利用支援も実施予定です．
また，今回も大会初日（日曜日）のみ会場内に学童ルームを設置する予定です．
現地学童・保育の利用には事前の登録が必要です。

Guidelines for Childcare Support during the JpGU-AGU Joint Meeting 2026 (For the English version, please see the latter part)
During the event period, we will provide the following two childcare support services:
・Use of the childcare room within the venue
・Support for using childcare services outside the venue, such as childcare facilities or babysitting services
For the 2026 event, a schoolchild's room will also be available exclusively on Sunday, May 24.
A childcare room will be set up within the venue during the event period, and assistance will be provided for users.
Use of the childcare room is strictly reservation-based. Those planning to use it must apply in advance.
■Eligible Ages: 0–6 years old (preschoolers) and elementary school students (up to 3rd grade)
■Childcare Fees: Per hour
・0 years old (3 months+): ¥1,000 (JP yen)
・1–6 years old (preschoolers): ¥800
・6 years old (elementary school): ¥500
■ Hours: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Cancellation Policy
1. If canceled by 5:00 PM the day before: Cancellation fee is waived (please contact the designated person in the neighborhood).
2. If canceled after 5:00 PM the day before or on the same day: 100% of the childcare fee will apply (with possible deductions).
On Sunday, May 25th, we will provide a space for children slightly older than the childcare room's target age (elementary school students).
The room will offer an environment where children can spend time freely according to their individual preferences.
Use of the Schoolchild's Room is by reservation only. Those planning to use it must apply in advance.

Usage Guidelines and Requests
・The age requirement is set for children capable of making their own decisions. If you have concerns, please register for the regular childcare room instead of the Schoolchild's Room.
・Professional childcare staff and part-time workers will supervise activities, but we assume no liability. Insurance is provided for injuries.
・Reading and homework are permitted in the Schoolchild's Room, but playing with personal electronic devices is not allowed. Supervising childcare staff will support play among participants.
・Depending on the number of children present and the situation, childcare staff may suggest activities (play).
・Children may go for walks within the venue. If you have strong preferences regarding how your child spends their time, please inform us in advance or on the day.
・Drop-off times require advance reservation. Children may leave during lunchtime, but must be picked up by a parent/guardian. If staying during lunchtime, parents/guardians must provide their own meals.
・Please bring your own snacks.

② If notified after 17:00 the day before or on the day itself, 100% of the childcare fee will be charged (Discounts may apply)
In addition to the childcare room within the venue, childcare support (external facilities, etc.) will be provided as in the previous year.
Those wishing to use this service should first carefully read the guidelines and arrange childcare independently. Facilities near the convention venue (Makuhari) or near your home may be used. Extended childcare on Sundays or during early mornings/evenings is eligible for subsidy, but regular fees for standard hours at your usual childcare facility are not covered.

会場内の保育ルームに加え，昨年度と同様の保育支援（外部施設等）も行います．
希望者はまず，ガイドラインを熟読のうえ，各自で保育の手配をしてください．大会会場(幕張)近隣のほか，ご自宅近隣等の保育施設の利用も可能です．日曜や早朝夕刻の延長保育も補助対象になりますが，通常利用されている保育施設での通常時間帯の利用料は対象外です.
