コンぺティションへの投稿方法
(How to join the competition)

　コンペティションへの投稿には，「コンペティション参加登録」，「予測結果のアップロード」，「Technical Paper, サマリースライド提出」が必要です．
　

 “Registration,” “Upload of results,” and “Technical paper and summary slide submission” are required to join the competition.

１．コンペティション参加登録 (Registration to competition)

　GeoSciAI2026では，自動採点システムにAIの予測結果をアップロードいただき，システムが採点を行う仕組みを採用します．自動採点システムに参加登録済みの方に，ウェブページのアップロード情報，表彰式Zoom情報などの通知を行います．以下の方法で参加登録を行ってください．本登録情報は本コンペティションのみで利用され，他の用途には用いられません．

1. 自動採点システム（ビッグデータ大学 for GeoSciAI 2026）にアクセスし、画面上部の「Googleアカウントでサインイン」をクリックし、アカウントを作成画面に移行してください。

2. ユーザ名・ニックネーム・所属を入力してください。ニックネームはコンペティションのランキングで公開されます。ユーザ名は公開されませんが、テクニカルペーパー投稿時に報告をしていただきます。入力後、「同意します」にチェックを入れ、「登録」ボタンをクリックしてください。

3. 認証コード（Invitation Code）の入力画面遷移します。「geosciai2026 」と入力し、「認証」をクリックしてください。

4. トップ画面に戻り、上部右側に「参加登録済み」と表示されていれば、参加登録が完了しています。「認証コード入力」と表示されている場合は、改めてコードを入力してください。なお、参加登録完了に数日時間がかかる場合もございます。

 For GeoSciAI2026, we will adopt a scoring system where participants upload their model prediction results, and which will then perform the scoring of the model. Notifications regarding the webpage upload information, the Zoom information for award ceremony, and other information will be sent to those who have registered to the scoring system.Registration information will be used only for GeoSciAI2026 and will not be used for any other purpose.
 

　コンペティションの参加者に制限はありません．学生の方から社会人の方まで，広く応募を歓迎いたします．参加にはJpGUの会員登録は必須ではありません．

There are no restrictions on participants. All applications are welcomed, including under-graduate students to working professionals. Note that JpGU membership is not required.

＃参加登録後の不参加への変更は，特にご連絡は不要です．
＃チーム(複数名)での参加も可能です．「チーム名（代表者氏名），代表者所属」で申し込み，Technical paperに分担者名と所属を明記ください．
＃チーム参加の場合には，参加登録は各自で行っていただいて構いませんが，予測結果のアップロードは代表アカウントのみでお願いします．
＃コンペに関する質問等はGeoSciAI2026 Slack (ご登録はこちら)からお願いします．

# No notification is required even when you do not participate the competion after registering.
# Team participation is possible. Please register with Team name and representative's information and clearly list all contributors' names and affiliations in the technical paper.
# For team participation, prediction result uploads to the scoring system should be done only through the representative account.
# Please ask any questions about the competition via the GeoSciAI2026 Slack from here.

２．予測結果のアップロード  / Upload of results

　各課題ページや参考実装を参考にAIモデルを作成し，評価データに対するAIモデルの予測結果を取得してください．予測結果を規定のフォーマットにまとめ，上記の自動採点システムにアップロードしてください．システムが自動的に採点し，その結果（スコアのみ）が全参加者が閲覧できるリーダーボードに公開されます．

 Please develop your AI model based on the task pages, and make the model's prediction results for the evaluation data shown in the task pages. Note that you need to compile the prediction results into the specified format to upload the results. Then you can upload them to the scoring system below. The system will automatically grade the submitted models, and the results (scores) of your model will be open on the "Leaderboard", which is visible to all participants.

# コンペ終了までは評価データの一部に対するスコアのみが開示されます．最終順位はコンペ終了まで公開されないため，諦めずチャレンジしてください．なお，システムがどのデータを評価対象としているかを調べる行為は固く禁じます．
# 採点は１日あたり３回まで可能です．したがって，自動採点システムを試すために，まずは参考実装の出力をアップロードしてみることを推奨します．

# Scores will only be disclosed for a subset of the evaluation data until the competition ends. Final rankings will not be open until the competition ends, so please keep challenging until the end of the competition. It is strictly prohibited to attempt to determine which data is used for the evaluation.
# You can upload the model up to three times per day. We recommend uploading the reference implementation's output to test the automated scoring system first.

自動採点システム (Scoring System)

３．提出物の投稿 (4月上旬〜) / Technical paper and summary slide submission (From April)

　応募課題に関して，ご自身の計算機環境にてモデル作成を行った結果について，下記の提出物案内で指定されていますTechnical Paper，サマリースライド等を提出ください．複数課題を投稿される方は，それぞれの課題毎に作成ください．提出物の提出をもって，コンペティションへの正式な参加表明とします．提出物を提出しない場合，表彰の対象にはなりません．

 Please submit the technical paper and summary slides, which are specified in the submission guidelines below, based on your model. If you submit both seismological task and meteorological task, please make separate submissions for each task. Formal participation in the competition is checked with the submission of these materials. 

　下記フォームから，以下の提出物をご提出ください．それぞれの添付容量は１０MBまでになっておりますので，ご注意ください．メール送付の際に自動返信メールが返信されますので，ご確認ください．

1. テクニカルペーパー(Technical Paper)

　PDF形式でA4用紙2-4ページにて作成ください．人工知能学会研究会フォーマットに準じる書式としてください．

・以下の項目は，必ず記載ください． 注意: システムから自動取得するため，スコアの記述は不要です．

　- 応募課題名，氏名（チームの場合は全員の氏名も併記），所属

　- データの使用方法（Train, Validationデータの分割方法など）

　- モデル構造，学習方法など

　- 参考・利用した過去の研究（引用文献として）

・他には例えば以下の事柄などをご記載ください．

　- スコア以外の結果（散布図，混同行列，ROC-AUCなど必要に応じて）

　- 工夫した点や議論

　- 計算機環境

　Please prepare your submission in PDF format, following the format by JSAI or similar one, with 2-4 pages.

・The following items must be included. Note that scores will be automatically retrieved from the scoring system, so there is no need to describe them.

　- Title of the task, name(s) (include all members' names for team participation), affiliation

　- Data usage (Train and Validation data splitting,...)

　- Model architecture, optimization method, ...

　- Previous research referenced or utilized (as citations)

・For example, please describe the following as needed in addition to the required items.

　- Results (scatter plots, confusion matrices, ROC-AUC...)

　- Innovative points and discussions

　- Computing environment

2. サマリースライド (Summary Slide)

・パワーポイント形式もしくはPDF形式（比率16:9，横）１枚にて作成ください．

・以下の内容を，文章もしくは図表にて簡単に含めてください．他内容を記載していただいても構いません．

　- 氏名orチーム名（全員の氏名），所属

　- 学習方法やモデル概要など

　- モデルの性能検証に関連する図表（散布図や混同行列など）

・表彰式や関連イベントでのポスター展示・報告などで使用する可能性があります．あらかじめご了承ください．

・Please make one slide summary with PowerPoint or PDF format (16:9 aspect ratio, landscape orientation).

・Please briefly include the following information in text or figures. Other contents can also be included.

　- Name(s) or team name (all members' names), affiliation

　- Overview of model and training method

　-  Diagrams and so on related to model performance verification (Score, Scatter plots, Confusion matrices, etc.)

・Please note that the submitted slides may be displayed or used for presentations at the awards ceremony or related events.

注意事項 / Notes

• 5/24の表彰式時に隣接して行うポスター展示に，提出資料を使用させていただく場合があります．ポスター作成・印刷・掲示はGeoSciAI2026ワーキンググループにて行います．

• 提出資料は，人工知能学会年会や合同研究会にて行われるコンペティション報告セッションでの発表等にて使用することがあります．ご了承ください．

• 各課題の審査員は，表彰式と本ページ上にて後日公開となります．

• アップロードするファイル名は，以下のルールに従ったファイル名で提出をお願いします．

• Submitted materials may be used for the poster exhibition on the Awarding Ceremony at JpGU-AGU meeting 2026. Poster printing and display will be handled by the GeoSciAI2026 working group and you just need to submit the summary slide. 

• The materials may be used for presentations in the sessions at the Annual Conference of JSAI or joint research meetings. Please be aware of the usage of the submitted materials.

• Judges for each challenge will be announced at the Awarding Ceremony and later on this page.

• Please name the files in following the format:

　課題毎に最優秀賞１名，優秀賞1名，特別賞（日本地球惑星科学連合賞，人工知能学会賞 各１名），学生賞を設け，幕張メッセにて行われるJpGU-AGU Meeting 2026 内にて，表彰式を実施いたします．JpGUと人工知能学会の両学会からの賞状と副賞が授与されます．

- 最優秀賞１点，優秀賞１点は各課題で指定された評価スコアで評価されます．
- 特別賞はそれぞれの分野の視点から興味深い点があるものが評価されます．
- 学生賞は他賞に該当しなかったものから，各課題の評価スコアを元に選出されます．
- 副賞はAmazonギフトカード「最優秀賞：3万円，優秀賞：1万円，特別賞：5000円」です．学生賞には副賞はありません．

　For each challenges, one Grand Award, one Excellence Award, two Special Awards (one for JpGU Award and the other for JSAI Award), and a Student Award will be presented. Awarding ceremony will be held during the JpGU-AGU meeting 2026 at Makuhari Messe. Certificates and supplementary prizes from both JpGU and JSAI will be awarded.

- The Grand Award and Excellence Award will be evaluated based on the specified evaluation scores.
- The Student Award will be selected from the submissions not eligible for other awards, based on the evaluation scores.

- Supplementary prizes are Amazon gift cards: Grand Prize: 30,000JPY, Excellence Award: 10,000JPY, Special Award: 5,000JPY. There is no supplementary prize for the Student Award.

　5/24 (日) 昼（予定）に幕張メッセ国際展示場ホール（JpGU-AGU 2026会場内）にて各賞の表彰式を行う予定です．希望する参加方法ごと，下記に従って参加登録を行ってください．

・現地参加
　JpGU-AGU meeting 2026のパブリック参加登録を行い，パブリック参加者として会場にご入場ください．本コンペティション以外にも公開されているJpGUセッションや同会場の展示などをご覧いただけます．参加費は無料です．

・オンライン参加

　5/23(土) 23:59JSTまでに自動採点システムへご登録ください．Zoomの接続情報については，表彰式当日の早朝に通知いたします．Zoomを通しての参加となりますので，開始時間までにZoomアプリケーションをダウンロードください．参加費は無料です．

　The awarding ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 24th, around lunch time (tentative) in the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall (JpGU-AGU meeting 2026 venue). Please register for participation according to your preferred method below.

・On-site Participation
Register for public participation at JpGU-AGU meeting 2026 and enter the venue as a public attendee. You can view other publicly available JpGU sessions and exhibitions at the venue. Participation is free of charge.

・Online Participation

  Please register via the scoring system at the top of this page by May 23rd 23:59JST. Information for Zoom connection will be provided early in the morning of the awarding ceremony. You can participate the ceremony via Zoom, so please download the Zoom application before the start time. Participation is free of charge.
