Cook and Kitchen Support Personnel (Part-Time ~ .8FTE)

Ideal Qualifications: 

• Experience in a school cafeteria

General Qualifications:

·      Acceptable Background check

·      Strong foundation and passion for elementary education.

·      High integrity with cleanliness and good health practices 

·      Has kitchen/cafeteria experience 

·      Has excellent integrity and demonstrates good moral character and initiative.

·      Strong organizational skills.

·      Relates well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.

·      Ability to communicate well.

 1st Grade Teacher (Full Time)

J. Paul Taylor Academy seeks a strong and energetic full-time 1st grade teacher to begin July 8, 2024.  The deadline for submitting applications is April 29, 2024 at midnight (MST). 

Minimum Qualifications:

·      Possess a valid New Mexico teaching license (or be eligible for license prior to start date). 

·      Strong foundation and passion for elementary education.

·      Has teaching experience at the lower level.

·      Has excellent integrity and demonstrates good moral character and initiative.

·      Strong foundation in structured literacy.

·      Knowledge and understanding of effective instructional strategies and classroom management.

·      Strong organizational skills.

·      Relates well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.

·      Ability to communicate well.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Has a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience at the lower elementary level.

·      Bilingual (English/Spanish).

·      Demonstrates excellent team spirit and leadership skills.

·      Ability or willingness to use technology for educational practices.
