Hi, I'm Jenifer, also knows as JT. I am owner, founder and CEO of Journey Together with JT — and someone who has spent decades showing up for children, families, and individuals. I bring passion, purpose, and a whole lot of heart.

My path to this work wasn't always a straight line. Like many of us, I've faced some significant struggles in life — and I've learned a lot of life's difficult lessons the hard way. But those experiences didn't break me. They shaped me. They gave me a deep, unshakeable empathy for the people I work with — because I know what it feels like to need support, to feel overwhelmed, and to wish someone would just meet you where you are.

And so that's exactly what I do. 

I do this work for a lot of reasons — but if I'm being honest, two of the biggest ones are my kids and myself. I want my children to see what it looks like to be truly passionate about your work. To witness firsthand that it's possible to wake up every day and genuinely love what you do. That work can be meaningful, joyful, and deeply fulfilling — not just something you endure. And for myself? There is nothing quite like sitting with someone, truly listening, and watching them feel heard — maybe for the first time. That never gets old. That's my why.

I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oregon State University where I graduated with honors. I am licensed through DORA (Departmnet of Regularty Agencies) in the state of Colorado. As well as through the Colorado Department of Education.

Over the decades, I've worked with children and families in a wide variety of capacities — always driven by the same core belief: that every person deserves to feel heard, supported, and met exactly where they are.

I have specialized training in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) — an evidence-based, well-researched approach that empowers parents and caregivers to support children navigating anxiety, OCD, and similar challenges. It's one of my favorite tools to share with families, because the results are truly transformative. 

I truly love what I do. I show up for every person I meet with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment. Whether you're a child learning to name big feelings, a teen finding your footing, a parent doing your very best, or a woman searching for connection — I see you. I'm here for you.
