Day of the dead
Day of the dead
Dear Parent/Guardian:
The Spanish class will be researching and discussing the holiday/ritual El Día de los Muertos, “The Day of the Dead”, in their Spanish classes. It is celebrated in México and certain parts of the United States. As a Spanish department, we feel that El Día de los Muertos is one of the traditions that most students find interesting; so as part of the lesson, we would like all students to have the opportunity to take part in creating their own “reverse glass painting” the week of October . In order for each student to get their own glass painting; we are asking for a donation of $6.00 per student to be made by Monday, The money will be used to buy the materials needed to make the glass painting. The reverse glass painting will first be displayed and then taken home. We encourage you to come see these colorful and fun projects. Thank you for your support.
