PAC Geometry
Students will understand a variety of basic to complex geometry concepts and will be able to apply their knowledge to solve difficult questions. Geometric basics, logic and reasoning, proofs, parallel and perpendicular lines, congruent triangles, quadrilaterals and polygons, transformations, similar triangles, right triangles, circles, area, surface area and volume are concepts that will be covered in this course. This is a challenging, yet rewarding class. I'm excited to go through this school year with you!
About me:
I'm excited to begin my 8th year teaching Geometry at the Ninth Grade Campus. I'm passionate about empowering the future generation with confidence in mathematics and critical thinking skills. I love my family, fishing, traveling, playing board games, sweet tea and country music. I try to incorporate fun and engaging activities in the classroom as often as I can and incorporate multiple learning styles. I'm so proud of how hard my students work and what they accomplish. We are going to have a great year!
