Music class is FAR more than just singing, or playing instruments.  

It's about moving your body to the music, finding the patterns in songs, and learning how to use math to divide the notes -- SO much fun!

U -- use instruments and materials carefully.

S -- speak, sing, and play only when asked.

 I -- immediately follow all directions.

C -- Consider others and BE KIND. 

Class Grading Procedures: Behavior and participation plays a HUGE role in my grading process.  We very seldom do any type of paper grades, but it does happen occasionally.  Because I only see students once per week, it might take up to two weeks to get the assignment completed and in the Skyward system.  If you see a "missing assignment", DON'T WORRY -- just email me and I'll get back with you as soon as possible.

 Each conduct offense takes 5 points off of the student's 6-weeks grade. 

1st offense -- E in citizenship

2nd offense -- S

3rd offense -- S

4th offense -- N

5th or more -- U
