Hello, and welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Barbara Lund, and I am thrilled to be your child’s music teacher. I look forward to getting to know your child throughout the year as we sing, play instruments, make joyful sounds, dance, and explore the many creative aspects of music together

Class Grading Procedures: Behavior and participation plays a HUGE role in my grading process. We very seldom do any type of paper grades, but it does happen occasionally.
Each conduct offense takes 5 points off of the student's 9-weeks grade.
1st offense -- E in citizenship
2nd offense -- S
3rd offense -- S
4th offense -- N
5th or more -- U
About me
Outside of school, I love to perform around the DFW area in my spare time. I perform with various percussion and drumline groups in North Texas, and I'm a proud member of the Dallas Mavericks Drumline. Go Mavs!
