My Mission: I strive to provide a warm and safe learning environment for students, fulfill all of my duties as a teacher in a professional manner, and to deliver instruction that is engaging, rigorous, and intentional while helping students learn content and character.
Experience: This is my tenth year to teach overall with 7 of those years being in Joshua ISD at the Ninth Grade Campus. I have coached UIL teams, sponsored various student organizations, and taught both on level and honors level students.
About me: I have been married to my husband for going on ten years. Together we have 4 beautiful children and a chocolate lab named Gunner. Rayleigh is 11 and is a twin to Layla, who passed away from cancer 4 years ago. Mason is 9 and Rhett is 4. As a family we enjoy anything involving the outdoors: hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, kayaking, camping, hiking...the list could go on! Personally, I read a lot and study the Bible as deeply and often as possible. I teach adult and youth classes at my church and I also sing on the praise team. My belief is that coffee and prayer begins each day on a great note! I am looking forward to getting to know you and am convinced that this year will be one for the books! Let's do big things!
