Mrs. Wood's 6th grade Math Class

Meet Mrs. Wood.....

Hi, my name is Julie Wood.  I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and specializing in Math and Science.  I have taught 6th grade math for eighteen years.  This is my tenth year in Joshua and I love teaching here.  I am married and have two daughters: a thirteen year old named Ella  and an eleven year old named Annagrace.  My girls take up most of my free time.  We have two dogs and a cat.  

As a teacher, it is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students.  I try to teach with a passion for math so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.  I believe it is important to keep an open communication with parents and guardians so please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
