About Mrs. Ball

I graduated from McMurry University in 2002 with a degree in education.  I'm excited to start my eleventh year with Joshua ISD and my twenty-fifth year teaching 6th grade math. 

I have been married for twenty-one years.  We have two sons who will turn sixteen and twelve in October.  They keep us busy with their activities and love playing with our puppy Izzy.

My goal is to lead students to a love of math by creating a classroom that they can feel like they are a valuable part of.   I want my students to know that it's okay to make mistakes as long as you use them as learning opportunities, an important lesson for the classroom and life.  I feel that learning is also a partnership between school and home.  Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
