Course Descriptions
The primary focal points at 6th grade are classifying numbers; fractions and decimals; ratio, rate and percent; coordinate graphs, tables and relationships; algebraic relationships; and data and measurement. The resource classroom provides small group lessons with student/teacher practice, and intensive teacher support when needed. All lessons are subject to change to meet the needs/requirements of students’ IEP goals and accommodations.
Procedures
Class will typically follow a similar structure that will include a bell ringer, math journal work, a lesson with guided practice, independent practice, and IEP goal work.
