Class Requirements:
Wear/Bring a T-Shirt for exercising in (There will be an opportunity to change in the locker room).
Wear a pair of soft sole non marking gym shoes such as tennis shoes (no slides, sandals, or boots).
No Jewelry worn during PE.
Participate to the best of your abilities.
Grading:
Each student is expected to suit up each day and participate to the best of their ability. Each student will start out with 100 points. Forgetting to bring appropriate clothes or shoes that can be exercised in will affect your grade. You will never be graded on your skills. This means you will not be competing against another student who may have better skills than you. You are competing against yourself. With this in mind, you will be graded on basically three things: 1. Dressing out properly 2. Participating to the best of YOUR ability and 3. Attitude/Behavior while participating
Tardy Policy:
1st & 2nd tardy-Student will receive a verbal warning
3rd tardy-Teachers will make parent contact via email or phone
4th tardy-Teacher assigns lunch detention
5th tardy-Written Referral
Excuse From Participation:
If you are unable to participate in class on a given day, you must have a note from your parent/guardian/doctor. Parent notes are good for a maximum of 2 days.
