Hello! I'm Ms. Bishop, Functional Academics teacher. I'm very excited for this next year! Here's a little about myself:
Professional Background:
I attended Texas A&M Kingsville, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education. I began teaching for Joshua ISD in 2019 and have been a Functional Academics teacher in a self-contained classroom each year. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and am pursuing a certification to better serve my students. I enjoy working with each student in my classroom and figuring out how I can best meet their individual needs to facilitate their growth.
My Interests:
In the summer, I enjoy traveling to see new places and especially enjoy spending time at the beach. When I am home, I always look forward to fellowship with my friends. I also spend time outdoors gardening, and when the weather is nice, hiking at different places.
