About Dr. James Roberson

I graduated from Hico ISD in 1973. Then went to Tarleton State University and became certified to teach Science. After five years of teaching, I decided to go back to school to pursue a career as a Chiropractor. I had my own practice for eight years, and then decided to go back to teaching. I have worked for Joshua ISD, from 1999 up to present time.  I have been in the teaching profession for 33 years.  I previously taught Physics and Astronomy but this year I will be teaching Astronomy.

My hobbies include flying small airplanes, scuba diving, and riding motorcycles.  I am also a musician; I play the violin.

My wife and I meet 12 and ½ years ago and been married for 11 years now.  We live in Stephenville.  We are both certified scuba divers and love the ocean and outdoors. She’s also working in the district.

We have 4 fur babies that we adore.

Nicholas - who loves to dress up and sing. His favorite song (You are my world- Legend of the blue sea) on violin.

Tabitho (Beto) - So gentle. My wife's dream cat.

Midnight - She is the "re-arranger".  She loves going to her Mama's purse.

Bastet - Our youngest.  She is playful, loves to roll on her back to get your attention.
