During our current crises of COVID-19 Joseph House Community Outreach Center has increased capacity to serve more individuals and families right now than we have ever in the past. We have served over 10,000 individuals alone in this current month of July, 2020 after the second wave of COVID-19 cases hit the Harris County area.

We want to keep the safety of the staff and our clients the number one priority at this moment. While staying at home may not be an option for us ,as we are an essential part of the community we are still doing our best to slow the spread.
From the initial months following the disaster that was Hurricane Harvey Joseph House Community Outreach Center serviced our largest count for the time at 7,000 individuals the first month following the disaster.
During the aftermath we increased our distribution to every week in order to provide support to Harris County residents every week for those without power in the home or without proper refrigeration to store food.
We succeeded by bring food to 21,000 individuals the first three months following the incident.
Joseph House Community Outreach Center was able to bring emergency supplies to the apartment complex during the storm Imelda that had completely flooded the entire complex.
We were able to bring emergency supplies into the the apartment complex that had become unsuitable for human living conditions.
We were able to provide mediate relief for the families in the apartment complex by providing non perishable food items, cleaning supplies, and health items.
Joseph House Community Outreach Center was on the scene at 2020 Watson explosion that effected nearby apartment complex's which destroyed homes in their entirety. We were able to bring food items and provide minor assistance with the wreckage of the destroyed homes.
