LIVING WATER INC. CURRICULUM
We provide developmentally appropriate material and activities, including information about the short-term effects and long-term consequences of use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
Use interactive teaching techniques, such as role playing, discussions, brainstorming, cooperative learning, and video viewing of addiction and drug abuse such as: Setting Personal Boundaries by Jim Sheldon, Set-Up For Relapse by Michael Johnson, Medical Consequences of Addiction
Cover necessary prevention and social skills from a living in balance curriculum, which covers 36 lessons on living in balance and how drugs and alcohol have played a part in these areas.
Actively involves the family and the community, so that prevention strategies are reinforced across settings.
Includes teacher training and support to ensure that curriculum is delivered as intended.
Contains material that is easy for teachers to implement and is culturally relevant for students.
Facilitate development of personal, Hebraic Christian Studies, social, and refusal skills to resist life pressures. In addition, developing a discharge plan with recommendations.

Individual and Group Sessions & Counseling
Study videos of Addiction & Drug Abuse by chemical dependency counselors with bi-monthly discussion
Assistance and Internet access for employment search and writing of resume
Help with food packages
Free Snacks (coffee, cake, chips, soda, and popcorn)Court-Ordered Community Supervision Restitution Program
Assessments are $25 per hour Groups and individuals are $25 per session and any follow-up
