Natalie graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Modern Dance, a BA in English Teaching and a Major Equivalency in History Teaching, a TESOL certificate, a Gifted & Talented endorsement, and a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. As a dance major, Natalie had the opportunity to perform with the University of Utah's Performing Dance Company. Since that time, Natalie has had the privilege of taking classes and workshops from various dance professionals, including dancers from Alvin Ailey in New York, Trisha Brown Company, Repertory Dance Theater, Ririe Woodbury Dance Company, and choreographers from the Millenium Dance Complex. Natalie also enjoys diving into choreography and instruction at several local schools and dance studios. While her passion is modern/contemporary dance, Natalie also teaches jazz, lyrical, hip hop, IB dance, and yoga. This year, she is excited to watch West Jordan's amazing dance company inspire audiences with their creativity, technique, and performance. 

Kate Robinson is our president this year and is a 3rd year member. She is 17 and has been dancing for almost 15 years. Kate's favorite style of dance is jazz.  The reason that Kate loves to dance is because it feels so freeing and it's an added bonus to be able to be with your best friends all the time. She joined West Jordan Dance Company because she knew it would be a place where she could grow as a dancer and as a person. Being on the team has helped her increase her confidence, her technique/performance, and has given her a team of best friends. As our president, Kate mostly manages the team by leading warm-ups, choreographing, representing the team on the Principal's Roundtable, and just keeping everything in line. Fun fact: If Kate could go anywhere in the world for her dream vacation it would be Rome. 

Paige is our vice president and is a 3rd year member. She's 17 and has been dancing since she was three. Paige's favorite style of dance is jazz.  Paige wanted to join West Jordan Dance company because her sister was on the team and always told her what a fantastic experience it was. Paige loves to dance, because there's something new to work on constantly and the performance opportunities are many.  As vice president, Paige not only assists Kate, but she choreographs dances, helps design the dance company's display case, assigns Secret Sisters, and supports the team in anyway she can.  Fun fact: If Paige could go anywhere in the world she would love to go to Bora Bora.  

Gracie is our secretary and is a 3rd year member.  She is 18 and has been dancing for 15 years. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary. Gracie loves to dance because it gives her a safe place to go and allows her to fully be herself surrounded by her best friends. She wanted to join West Jordan Dance Company because she wanted to grow as a person and as a dancer through new opportunities. As our secretary, Gracie plans our monthly team activities such as, going to a haunted house, ice skating in December, organizing the Sweethearts dance, and so much more. She also helps choreograph and clean dances. Fun fact: If Gracie could go anywhere in the world for her dream vacation it would be Greece.

Sadie is our historian this year and is a 2nd year member. She is 16 years old and has been dancing for 13 years. Sadie's favorite style of dance is contemporary. Sadie loves to dance because it makes her feel so good; it helps her build connections and friendships. Sadie wanted to join West Jordan Dance Company because her older sister was on the team and because of that, she saw an amazing and supportive environment that she knew she wanted to be a part of. As our historian, Sadie is mainly in charge of dance company's social media accounts where she spotlights teammates and advertises for upcoming events such as performances, concerts, fundraisers etc. She also makes slideshows and presentations that are shown at concerts and events. Fun fact: If Sadie could go anywhere in the world she would go to Amsterdam. 

Haylee is our costume director and is a 2nd year member. She is 16 and has been dancing for 13 years. Her favorite style of dance changes, but most of the time it's contemporary/lyrical. The reason Haylee loves to dance so much is because you never stop growing; you can always improve. Dance also nourishes physical, mental, and emotional health. Haylee wanted to join West Jordan's Dance Company because she knew it would be something to push her to the next level and help her build awesome relationships with teammates. As our costume director, Haylee's in charge of costumes, makeup, hair, team gear and just everything to do with how we look for a performance. Fun fact: If Haylee could go anywhere in the world she would go to Greece. 

Bella is 17 years old and is a 3rd year member.  She has been dancing for 14 years and her favorite style of dance is contemporary. She wanted to join West Jordan's Dance Company because she had family friends who had been on the team and she looked up to them so much. Their passion and love for dance inspired her to be a part of the team. Bella loves dance because she's able to express herself and who she is; it also helps her to get away from the world and find happiness in doing something that she loves. Fun fact: If Bella could go anywhere in the world she would go to Greece and Africa.

Grace is 17 and is a 2nd year member on West Jordan's Dance Company. She has been dancing for nine years and her favorite style of dancing is contemporary. Grace wanted to join the team, so she could be involved in high school as much as she could. The dance company has helped her gain built in best friends. Grace loves to dance because she loves spending time with all of her friends and she loves sharing a passion for dance with those around her. Fun fact: If Grace could go anywhere in the world it would be France.  

Hadley is 18 and is a 3rd year member. She's been dancing for 15 years and her favorite style of dance is jazz. Hadley loves to dance because of all the amazing people that dance has helped bring into her life. Hadley wanted to join West Jordan Dance Company because she heard good things about the program and she wanted to continue dancing in high school. Dance Company has allowed her to make close friends, while also being involved at the school. Fun fact:  If Hadley could go anywhere in the world she would go to Monaco. 

Sabrina is 17 years old and is a 3rd year member. She has been dancing for 14 years and her favorite style of dance is lyrical. Sabrina wanted to join the West Jordan's Dance Company because of all the different performance opportunities and the chance to work with many different choreographers. Some of her favorites choreographers have included Sage Jones from SLCC's Dance Company, Loni and Brynli from BYU's Cougarettes, McKenzie Gerber-Smith from Empower Dance Academy, and many more. Sabrina loves to dance, because you get to dance with all of your best friends. Fun fact:  If Sabrina could go anywhere in the world it would be Greece. 

Isadora is 16 years old and is a 2nd year member. She's been dancing for five years and her favorite style of dance is hip hop. She loves to dance because it's the way she can express her feelings without words. Dance also provides an outlet, because it allows her to forget about all her problems. Isadora wanted to join the West Jordan Dance Company because she wanted to grow as a dancer. She wanted to learn from professional artists and expand her understanding of choreography. Nothing makes her happier than performing. Fun fact: Isadora wants to travel to all the places that films and TV shows are filmed at.

Baylen is 16 years old and is a 1st year member.  She's been dancing for fourteen years and her favorite styles of dance include both contemporary and hip-hop. Baylen loves to dance because she's able to express herself without using words. She wanted to join a West Jordan's Dance Company to gain more performance opportunities, work with new artists, and expand her experiences. Fun fact: If Baylen could go anywhere in the world it would be some place tropical.
