All supplies are provided by the classroom teachers. However, all students need a backpack big enough to fit a 3 prong folder and a change of clothes. For the first few months of school, please leave a change of clothes inside your child's backpack in case of emergencies.
If you would like to donate items to the classroom, we will always appreciate it. Please ask your child's teacher for needed donations. Examples of items: Clorox Wipes, facial tissues, band aides, black dry erase markers, etc.
When you complete your registration, please list emergency contacts other than parents. An emergency contact may pick up a student only when a parent/guardian authorizes that person to do so. The authorization should be done by a phone call or email to the school.
Please ensure that your student arrives and is picked up on time. If you’re going to be late for pick-up, communicate with either the teacher and/or the office. If your child is going to be absent, call the office so they can be excused. Also, be aware there is no supervision for students before school starts.
If your child will be missing more than 3 days of school, please stop by the office to fill out a form prior to the vacation dates. Each student is allowed 10 Education/Vacation Release days each year.
Please contact your child’s teacher if you are interested in volunteering. Be sure to get the fingerprinting form from the front office. All volunteers must be fingerprinted.
If you need to check your child out during the school day you may call a few minutes before you arrive; however, you must come into the office and show your picture ID.
Students will be outside when the temperature is 21 degrees or above. This temperature takes into account the wind chill factor. Please make sure your student is dressed appropriately.
Air pollution: On “Red” air quality days, all students will remain indoors. On “Orange” days, students with lung sensitivities can remain indoors with a note from a parent.
Please label all of your student’s items with their name and phone number. If your student has lost something, please have them check the lost and found currently located near the front office.
