Mini Sentinels Child Care
The Mini Sentinels Child Care Lab at Mountain Ridge High School provides services for children ages 6 weeks - 5 years old. Our Child Care Lab is provided for employees of Mountain Ridge High School and Jordan School District. Community members may be able to fill spots based on availability. Please check the Jordan School District Child Care Lab Policies and Procedures Handbook below. Keep in mind that district policies are subject to change.
Schedule
Lab Hours of Operation: 7 am to 3:30 pm (M-F)
We will operate within the high school calendar. When school is not in session and we don't have high school students to assist in staffing the lab, the child care lab will be closed. We rely on student teachers/aides to maintain the appropriate child/adult ratios. If school is closed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the child care lab will also be closed. Listen to local radio and television stations for school closure announcements.
We ask that you notify us by 8 am if your child will not be attending the lab that day. We will serve breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks on a daily basis.
Cost
The following prices will be charged as follows for the 2023-24 school year:
$50 non-refundable registration fee per child to reserve your child(ren) a space in the program
Full-time Infants (6 weeks to 2 years) $774/month
Full-time toddlers (2-5 years) $696/month

Tuition is based on the actual cost of operatng the Lab. We have expense to maintain for all full-time children served, so there will be no credit given for absences. The district expects us to be self-supporting and we will keep our costs as low as possible.
** Toddlers that are 4 years old by Sept. 1st will be enrolled in the Mini Sentinels Preschool two days a week at no additional charge. This requires a separate registration.

Child Care Lab Registration is currently full. Please contact Traci Nuttall at traci.nuttall@jordandistrict.org to be placed on the waiting list and BEFORE filling out any forms.
