With Co-Teaching on Nearpod, you and your co-teacher or co-facilitator can both control the pace of the lesson and get real-time insights into student responses.
You can use Quick Launch to launch an Open-ended Question, Collaborate Board, or Timer! These activities are great for bell ringers, do-nows, exit tickets, those in the moment sparks of inspiration, and more!
The Nearpod Lesson Library has thousands of premade standards-aligned lessons, videos, and activities from trusted educational publishers. Teachers can download and customize premade content from the Nearpod Library to use as Student-Paced Nearpods for independent practice or as a whole-group lesson.
Now, you can assign a Time to Climb quiz as part of a Student-Paced lesson, and your class can work on it on their own time.
Additionally you can add reference images for Time to Climb. You now have the ability to add reference images for questions in Time to Climb quizzes. This means that images can be included for Time to Climb as questions and/or answers. Students can expand the images to look more closely.
Microsoft Immersive Reader has been added to the Matching Pairs activity! Now, students can have text read aloud, translated, and more on directions and cards for matching pairs.
Now students can respond to an Open-Ended Question with audio, text, or both! Teachers can play back student audio submissions from the teacher dashboard, or later in the post-session reports.
Teachers can easily add their Flipgrid links into Nearpod, and view/moderate the Flipgrid teacher dashboard within the Nearpod teacher view, while students are responding in a Nearpod lesson.
Teachers can now quickly create individual activities within Nearpod, and launch them to their students in seconds with Quick Launch activities. You can “quick launch” Draw It, Open-Ended Question, Collaborate! and a NEW Nearpod timer!
