Welcome to Grizz Kids Child Care Lab!
A unique, on-site child care program at Copper Hills High School, designed to help students gain real-world experience in early childhood education while providing high-quality care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
Our Mission
We prepare high school students with essential child care knowledge and skills for both home and workplace settings, while supporting the growth and development of young children in a safe, nurturing environment.
Who We Serve
Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
Children of Copper Hills High School and Jordan School District employees
Who Provides Care
High school students trained in Child Development/Early Childhood Education
Supervised by a certified child care manager and 2–4 adult aides
Program Highlights
Balanced daily schedule: literacy, math, science, exploration, circle time, play, rest, and more
Focus on cognitive, social, and physical development
Age-appropriate activities and toys
Hours of Operation
7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Follows the Copper Hills High School calendar
Tuition and Registration
Tuition varies by age and schedule
$50 registration fee per child
Nutrition
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided
All meals meet Federal Child Care Food Program standards
