Each school year, grades are assigned at the end of each quarter. For every class, students earn 0.25 credit per quarter as long as they receive a final grade of D- or higher. If a 9th grade student receives an F in any course required for graduation, they are required to recover the credit by participating in the Credit Recovery program.
Please request a time to talk with your school counselor to explore the options that are best for you!
JCC (Jordan Credit Center) offers flexible enrollment and online options, including original credit, grade replacement, credit recovery, and demonstrated competency assessments.
To register for any options with Jordan Credit Center, students and parents must meet with their school counselor.
Students can take in-person summer courses through Valley High School to make up credit. The cost is $45 per session and an additional $35 per .25 credit.
