American Numismatic Association. The ANA is one of the most reputable organizations in the world for coin collectors ("numismatists"). Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the ANA has an amazing coin museum, library of coin books, and run classes to teach youth and adults all about coins.

Coin Facts. This is the Wikipedia of U.S. coins. It contains numerous pictures as well as historical information.

Coin Quest. This site can help you determine the value of your coins, what they're made of, when, where, and so forth. Great for beginning coin collectors.
