Guess who’s back, back again, Chasms, Copper Hills’ literary magazine, is back. The word “chasm” means a deep crack in the Earth’s surface, a break or gap, a wide divergence of feeling or sentiments. The name Chasms is derived from a Tao philosophy in which empty space is believed to be just as important as filled space. As your editors-in-chief, we have curated a space to bring Chasms to life.
This year, we are publishing the first online edition of Chasms! So whether you get a hard copy or not, you can still delve into the world of Chasms! We want to thank everyone on our team for working so hard to get the magazine up and running again, along with social media and our website. Most of all, thank you for believing in us and sharing your work with us!
If you are fond of the arts or not, Chasms is a beautiful way to discover and to learn about yourself. To learn what was, what is, and what could be. As you dive deep into the depths of Chasms, ask yourself. Who am I now and who am I willing to become?
Sincerely,
Abigail Knaak
