The Jersey Off-Road Bicycling Association (JORBA), Avid Trails and the Borough of High Bridge, NJ have collaborated to jointly develop a bike park which aims to improve trail connectivity with the pump track on the property formerly known as “Pfauth Tract” – referred to as the North of the Commons on the Wye Park or High Bridge Commons.
We believe this will bring more children and young adults on bikes to the area, facilitating greater connections to nature and recreation, promoting health, well-being and a stronger sense of stewardship for our natural environment. It will promote additional use of existing bike trails and engender support for their maintenance and improvement.
We are seeking additional funding for a total project cost of $30,000.
Create NJ’s first designated bike park on public land.
Add directional, progressive, family-friendly, skill building bike trails to existing system leveraging proximity to pump track, Columbia Trail and Nassau Trails system to further establish High Bridge as a destination MTB venue.
