Weekly Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
Shining Bright on Wear Yellow Day!
Our school corridors turned into a spectacular sea of sunshine today as we celebrated Wear Yellow Day in support of World Mental Health Day. Pupils and staff proudly wore bright clothing and yellow accessories to show our young people that they are never alone with their mental health.
During the day, the children engaged in wonderful classroom activities focused on mindfulness, emotional well-being, and understanding their feelings. From calming breathing exercises to sensory walks in our grounds, the school was filled with uplifting energy and kindness. It was a fantastic reminder of how a small splash of colour can spark big, important conversations about looking after our minds.
A Huge Thank You for Your Donations
We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming generosity of our school community. A massive thank you to all parents and carers for your kind financial donations today. Your contributions will go towards Peace of Mind which is a brilliant charity dedicated to supporting young people's mental health across the UK and at our school. Your support helps ensure no child has to face tough times alone.
Congratulations to the JOPSPA Team!
The excitement continued today with the official grand opening of the brand-new JOPSPA refreshment hub! We extend our warmest congratulations and a huge thank you to the wonderful JOPSPA team for their hard work in getting the hub up and running. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces stopping by for a warm drink and a delicious treat. The hub is set to be a fantastic asset for our school community during upcoming events.
Wishing You a Wonderful Weekend
Thank you all for making this such a positive, impactful week. We hope you all enjoy a restful, happy, and safe weekend with your families. See you all on Monday!
Take care,
