Distributive Property-The property that states that multiplying a sum by a number is the same as multiplying each addend by the number and then adding the products
Example: 5 × (10 + 6) = (5 × 10) + (5 × 6
Estimate- to find an answer that is close to the exact amount.
Factor- A number that is multiplied by another number to find a product.
Partial product-A method of multiplying in which ones, tens, hundreds, and so on are multiplied separately and then the products are added together.

Place value- The value of a digit in a number, based on the location of the digit.
Product- The answer to a multiplication problem.
Example: 4 × 5 = 20 <--product
Regroup- To exchange amounts of equal value to rename a number
Example: 5 + 8 = 13 ones or 1 ten 3 ones
Round- To replace a number with another number that tells about how many or how much.
